Welcome to NBR Panasonic Toughbook Forum

I don't have a G1 but a few do have them and they will be on later. Have you checked to see what the settings are in the BIOS ?

Sounds like the digitizer is working and the touchscreen is not.
    Check BIOS.
    Check drivers.

Windows 8.1, 7 or W10? They are slightly different.

The LAST thing to do is to throw drivers at it.

W7 for instance calibrates and all from W7 package drivers.

We need just a leeetle bit more info.

    And welcome aboard.

Touchscreen has to work in BIOS Setup also. If it doesn't - I would presume it's either dead (1%) or not connected (99%). Disassemble and check it's cable.
