Nope, but unfortunately voters are swayed by it.
I think Sarah Palin solidified her title as VP nominee by proving she could handle it and answered to skeptics, but personally I think Joe Biden was much stronger at the points and much better at defending himself.
Fools are drawn in by Palin's demeanor; people who are succinct will notice that almost none of her arguments had any substance. While Biden was "boringly" putting forth statistics and numbers to bolster his claims, Palin merely recited McCain's old arguments.
Oh, and I agree with JohnDoe; do people even know what a debate is anymore, or do they just look at which candidate is more likeable?
I think Palin should be banned from talking at all.
LOL yeah I noticed the deep breathing.
I also thought it was ridiculous that Palin kept trying to sound so "folksy" by bringing in all the small town crap into the debate. Nothing against small towns, but keep that outside of the debate that is supposed to discuss relevant issues of our country.
They sell us the president the same way
They sell us our clothes and our cars

lol interesting, I guess being the first to make a VP debate thread means mine has to be moved.
I don't like Palin, and couldn't help but note that she answered only questions she cared to address. Her responses seemed canned but she obviously was very well tutored. She did not come across as the dummy we've seen for the last couple of weeks. She was much better than I expected, and I'm sure that her fans are very pleased that she did so much better than she did with Gibson and Couric.
I doubt she swayed many opinions about who should be the next President.
