Pads received with myvlaptop

    Hi all,
    Got my Eluktronics P650RP6 and in the box I received small pads.
    What are they?

    Usually for NVME M.2 SSDs.

    Yep, exactly. If you ordered the laptop with an NVMe drive installed by the seller, it might be worth checking out to make certain they applied a thermal pad already.

    The laptop has a sata m.2 in the NVMe slot, is just for Nvme or every m2 ssd? Is it supposed do dissipate heat?

    It's just for PCIe. mSATA drives don't produce as much heat as the PCIe drives.

    Yes, it helps with mitigating heat buildup. :vbsmile:

    Sata M.2 drivers do not need it, they do not make much heat.
    NVME PCI-E drives do.
