    Hi, after searching a solution all over the internet for about our heat problem, I decided to create an application that manually changes the fan speed. Its written in C# and used lots of help from this forum thread.

    for some reason, Monitor Data doesn't open

    Firstly I'm very sorry for the late answer.
    No, it won't work on your computers unless you find out the addresses and offsets of embedded controller and I update the settings file.

    Yes indeed it is! And I've never encountered any overheating issue since using the fan with max speed. Noise is a little annoying but it's not that much of a problem.

    I would be grateful if you could tell me how i can control the cpu fan of my packard bell ts11hr &find the addresses of the embedded controller.

    Hello, I also would be gratefull if you could tell where i can exactly find adresses for to change my fan speed. I found this service manual with all stuff inside my packard bell tsx66hr (at least this site claims its true) and i see some addresses but i dont know which exactly i need to put into settings of your program to make it work. Still great work with it, hope you will keep it up.
