    good evening guys, I require your help again, I am trying to upgrade my laptop from gtx 1080 to rtx 2070, my laptop is a clevo p870tm-g, I have updated the bios already so I can fit a i5-9600k ( all good and bios is unlocked) but now I have tried to install an rtx 2070 card and it will show up in the bios as unknown gpu model, do i have to update the vbios of the card or do I have to update my laptop bios to recognise the rtx card, the current bios is b10716, please help me out, I have also contacted eurocom for some help and clevo-computer.com( from them I got the card, also to mention that the card was dols as working only for p775dm3x and p75xdm2x laptops, but my laptop clearly supports rtx cards as it is offered by eurocom.com, they have just suggested to modify the nvidia drivers but I do not know which line to change and what to add, thank you

    Laptopvideo2go.com has pre-modified drivers.

    Even if it is unknown in the bios, it will still most likely install fine with modded drivers if required.

    I put a 1060 in my P870TM and it isn’t on the officially supported list and shows up as unknown in the bios but installed fine with modded drivers.

    My previous P870DM-G showed its native 980 as unknown when I installed the Dsanke BIOS but drivers installed fine and it worked as intended.

    Try installing the nvidia drivers as is and if they don’t work then worry about modded drivers.

    @Meaker@Sager
    Ahoy once more!
    I’ve been trying to update drivers for my p870 tm with rtx2080. Previously I’ve used J95’s drivers from the premamod site, but have had a go with laptop2go drivers and Inf files to no avail.
    I’ve downloaded 452.06 notebook win10 64bit driver and the Inf file for it, extracted the driver, placed the Inf file in the display.driver file, disabled driver signature and update driver via the have disk method pointing to the Inf file but when I click next it encounters a problem installing drivers for my device, citing The system cannot find the file specified.
    Am I missing some step or alternative file somewhere?

    thanks
