    for a normal 1070 "msi version" its possible only solder the sli connector?, or do any other mod

    Those are some fine pitch connections and not a very common connector from my quick searching. Then you have the VBIOS to worry about.

    I bought two 980m from Mr. Lee, they were magically damaged at the end of the warranty, so I have where to get the connectors, but then VBIOS is easy to get?

    We are updating our EURO 1070 MXM3 card to SLI version in late of March. It is standard 82x105mm MXM3.0b size so it will fit in most of laptops that support MXM3.0b. As long as your system has eDP display and/or it is Optimus based it should work.

    Just wondering, is this plug and play with heatsinks? Or do they/ and chassis need to be modified?

    If it's the standard format MXM-B then it would physically fit.
