P775TM1 Build Help

    I set it at first boot with some less stressful OC settings and I was able to get into windows then it just shutoff like I had pulled the plug/battery. I'll try messing with it a bit more and switch around the memory locations, but if it doesn't want to work i'm ok with the custom profile I made.

    Yeah it's weird idk about the 1080, but my 2070 would actually run a bit hotter around mid 60's avg and 75-80 max during gameplay. Pretty happy with the 2080, perhaps the thicker die/chip is allowing for better clamping force and mating the heatsink up with the die better. I'm just planning on doing the vbios mod, since I've got my SPI flasher out and ready from another laptop I've been working on.

    That's very strange, perhaps give it a try with a less aggressive undervolt and see if it still hard crashes like that. The bigger die does help with the thermal dissipation.

    Try stock and see how it works out. You can add in overclock/voltage settings afterwards with Throttlestop.
