Thanks for the hint. I like that they sell without GPU, but for just staying with the P775, this seems still quite expensive to me.
I'd basically have to buy the same system again, just with a different CPU.

For staying with P775, I was rather thinking about the modded firmware here http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...-p7xxdm-x-p870dm-x-km-n95xkp6-laptops.825558/, which should support 9900K.
I am only not so sure about the thermals, but I could delid, apply LM, and make sure the heatsink has enough pressure.

Should I go for the 8700k (409,90€) or the 9900k (546,90€)? The price difference from the 8700k is: 137€. No idea is the difference is justified for mainly gaming on the laptop?
I mean, if in the future I get the P775tm1 barebone and a rtx card maybe but right now with 1080 have no idea. What do you guys think?

So my next upgrade will be the 8700k cpu and keep the P775DM3-G and save some money to VOLTA's from nVidia (30x0 generation).

150w limited GPU... no thanks :)

I'll keep this topic updated once i get it and @John@OBSIDIAN-PC will help me with the flashing part of the BIOS and vBios! Kudos to you @John@OBSIDIAN-PC for being such a gentle soul :D

i think thats an absurd amount to pay eurocom. I got a motherboard and enclosure with the rtx heat sink fan and speakers 144hz panel 500 bucks on ebay NEW! thing is i had to put it together myself. All i need is prema bios. I have a 9900k already to drop with memory and nvmes. All i need to purchase is the plug and battery. I also have a AX200 Intel i got on ebay for 14 bucks!

I did end up buying a 8700k and using dsanke BIOS which supports RTX and GTX. I will eventually buy the 9900k and a 2080 in the future and will purchase the kits on eBay too. Yes the amount that Eurocom charges is absurd
As for wireless I did bought a Intel 9560 because I still don't have a ax norm router (own a Asus RTAC68U) but will eventually buy a Asus AX88U too when prices drop (its around 310euros still)

It should still be a strong AC card too.

For gaming the combo router and wireless card work great :)
