I have been using this laptop actively, almost 4 hour every day on average. If that happens what would be the best way to clean?

the best thing is to use more LM to fix it. Otherwise your gonna need the good stuff to clean it, and it might permanently be "stained" or so it will look. It might affect performance too switching pastes, but I have never tested that to be honest, just being hypothetical.

If you switch out, please opt for Thermal Grizzly kryonaut and not MX-4. The latter is okay, but expect up to 5C more under load with MX-4. Undervolting CPU and GPU plus repaste would be my advice.

Kryonaut does have higher thermal conductivity than MX-4. Of course everyone's mileage varies, though.

IC diamond does have a funny smell when removing it I have found, krynaught offers the same performance without that and the scratching.

The other option is to regenerate your current application with a tiny drop extra.

Sorry for late reply because I have been busy and was confused on either remove the LM and go for MX4 (budget issue), or repaste with another LM (don't have one cuz GenTech applied it)

These days i was in 65c idle

Did you double check the fit and contact is still good? LM does not need a repaste every time you remove the cooler.

I was able to check a bare inside because my screw for heatsink came as stripped. With a small swipe with swab, it was literally particles of metal, looks like a bit oxidized

It can develop a sheen but should be fine.

I repasted successfully, temperature went down in 50C CPU and 48C GPU.

But I have a question: What is this black clunk in the middle whilst cleaning?
