I'm tempted with the P35X v3. Very sleek and sexy and light but powerful. 1080p matte too, ftw! :)

Hmmm, $300 upcharge to move from the 970m to the 980m.

I'm gonna wait to see what the actual gaming difference is and how it handles the heat from the 980m.

I can live with the 970m but it would be nice to have the better one.

All on pre-order atm it seems.

The Americans on this forum will have to tell me how well it handles the heat of the 980M as it's nowhere to be found in the UK yet. I imagine it'll release in the US first, most things do. Go my Guinea pigs, go! :p

I see there is a 3K version too, very interested in that as I think it represents a good middle-ground of resolution for that screen size. 1080p is a tad small, and 4k is too big. I preusme its IPS also.

Also I note Gigabyte are using the 6GB/8GB versions, so really are well future-proofed in terms of GPU memory... and unlike MSI who are using the 3GB/4GBversions.

All in all an absolutely stonking all-round spec, and I think I may well invest in a 980M to last the next 2 years.
