What I got from that is that the power supply is in fact 150w (I think he is saying its thin and light) and:
    Positive: better backlight on KB
keyboard was upgraded from v2-No keyboard flex
Trackpad has separate left and right click buttons
4-5 hrs battery life on 50% brightness on Wifi
Negative: up to 90C in full load
    Easily smudges, lots of fingerprints
    Not great speakers

Comes with Power Dvd 10 and a sleeve! Might also have a mouse and mousepad, but that could be from the reseller.

There's some talk about generous metal and mention of plastic that I can't make out. Also temps for overclocking and gaming coming soon.

I doubt it will add much more useful info but I uploaded a quick video to youtube. Been busy and haven't had time to test much, plus I'm not a video guy so video is pretty bad. For what it is worth...

Haven't noticed any keyboard flex with use. Also heat hasn't been a problem so far for me - still no super taxing games on board though. Fan is loud but not worse than I have experienced with other gaming laptops. In the video the fan sounds like a NASA launch but it really isn't that bad. I'm starting to use it on battery now so will see how long it lasts. Comp runs quiet on battery browsing web in bed. Exterior does smudge. Screen hinges seem solid as does chassis. Mine came with a cheap sleeve. No mouse or pad. PSU came in at 1.5lb on home digital scale (not necessarily accurate but computer came in at 3.9lbs using same technique so that should be close estimate). PSU is next to computer in video and looks huge but I think it is mostly perspective next to small comp. Doesn't seem much bigger or smaller than others I have owned.

Will post a bit more in a day or two when I've had more time to use it. So far I'm happy. I think it is a keeper fwiw.

I actually think you did a pretty spectacular job on the video! Absolutely 100% appreciate it.

I'm impressed with the quality. From the reviews i've seen online of the Gigabyte p34 v2, it seems its not just an all black chassis upgrade, but upgraded plastics and metals as well, at least the use of them.

Apploy, you made me and alot of us here very happy...THANKS AGAIN!!!

    Thanks for the vid!! Finally!

The fan sounded very loud to me.... thought it was some in-game music coming from the speakers.

    What do you guys think?

Just like he said, I don't think its as bad as they sounded in the video. His camera and mic were moving real close and far from the fan vents. Also there could have been some additional background noise.

If the camera was at normal 'head' distance from the laptop you could maybe gauge the noise better, camera was close to the side of the laptop so its going to sound noisy.
Good video though, gives people an initial look and feel.

Hello, I'm the author of the post, happy to see you guys also lurk at less popular forums like hong kong's.

I'm typing with the p34w now, if there's anything you want me to clarify feel free to speak out. I can also make an eng version of that post since it doesn't seem like the original post gained momentum over there.

Hi, i think we are so eager to see reviews on the notebook we are ready to try and decipher a Chinese review using google translate :)

An English version of your review would be very useful (at least for me).

I'm also curious about the screen quality and keyboard/trackpad easiness of use/ comfort

    Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, here is my first post on this forum, I hope we will all have a great time together :)

Thank you @fanchiuho to get motivated to log in ! I have ordered the P34W to for about two months now, and I am lurking to get it. My reseller keeps telling me that Gigabyte is responsible for the delay and your many posts are comfirming it (well in my mind at least).

So @fanchiuho It would be a wonder if you do translate your hongkong forum post in english for us ! Look like you did a great job structuring your review with differents points and added pictures to have a good view :)

On other point, I would like to know if anyone with the same situation (delayed ETA many times from gigabyte) would like to join me on a grouped polite mailing in order to make them notice the problem, and correct it further, and maybe have some compensation (who knows they might release a 6gb GPU version).

Have a nice Sunday, or Monday depending where you are ;)
