    Hi

I have a Clevo P375SM-A and the laptop screen does not work during the POST/BIOS screen unless an external monitor is connected, once the laptop is booted into Windows it works perfectly fine and both Laptop and external monitors work.

Has anyone got any clues on how to make the Laptop screen work during POST/BIOS?

    Many Thanks,

Do you happen to know which BIOS version you're on? And which version of Windows?

    Have you replaced the GPU?

remove BIOS battery and reset EC, then try again. It's certainly a weird issue you're having.

By removing ac and main system battery. The bios battery would reset the CMOS (bios) as well and you would have done a bios + EC reset.

Thanks, first things first, I mentioned the wrong Clevo machine, I have a P375SM-A. I've corrected the main message but unable to correct the title.

Secondly, I've removed the battery and CMOS battery for at least 2 hours and reconnected them both, still no change. The laptop display does not work in POST only when it gets to Windows does it work.

So in order for me to access any BIOS settings I have to connect an external monitor.

I think it probably needs a new graphics card, any recommendations for where to get it one?

It's more likely a vbios issue. However with a bit of modding of the cooler the GTX 1060 performs pretty well.

Thanks - the current vbios is as attached. Know how to re-flash / update it?
