if you havent done so already, be sure to consult @Prema on this upgrade, since he already managed to realize it in his P150EM :)

Good point - we will coordinate this with him. We still need to do all all testing with various O/S etc to make sure that 1060 solution is stable and is performing well.

Hi i created an account and im posting specifically because of my interest of a nvidia 1060 gtx in a p150em.

In my opinion the 1060 almost completely outdoes the 980m in all the areas i care about while costing less and being more future proof.
the cost for buying a 980m is above 800 usd or around.
You can get a new 1060 laptop for a few hundred more.
The price of the 1060 cards out there is way lower.

So yes Id like to purchase a 1060 specifically from eurocom because you guys provide support n bios for it to work properly.
I been searching about this and even as asked on a youtube video of yours. I mean i bought a clevo for the upgradability of mxm and feel left out so far not getting to buy a 1060. its well priced and better performance for the games that matter to me.

not quite accurate, since that is the desktop 1060.

heres a more extensive comparison between 1060 mobile and 980M: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Nvidia...-1080-SLI-GTX-1070-and-GTX-1060.171566.0.html

in synthetic benchmarks, the 1060 scores 11% more than the 980M. across 31 different games, however, the 1060´s advantage widens to 31%! in comparison to that, the desktop 1060 is about 15% faster than the laptop model, scoring at 151% of 980M levels in games.

Looks like once Prema's vBIOS for the 1060 is made, it will be close to desktop 1060 performance. Then it will truly be a powerful card for its class(980 level).
