I will bear that in mind, though I can't imagine when I will next be in Paris.

There's a restaurant near where I live that used to serve haggis wrapped in filo pastry and fried in Drambuie, it was amazing.
Sadly, they stopped doing it a while ago :(

Also, what happened to a nice piece of juicy steak or other meats? Anyone up for a dry aged beef tenderloin cooked medium rare with a horseradish pomme purée, roasted cipollini onion, garlic confit, and truffle Madeira jus?

How about the more exotic types of meat? Say alligator, kangaroo, ostrich or even horse meat? :)

Never had any of them, but I've had deer. In a stew it is almost impossible to tell from beef......

Yeah, lots of meat taste like beef. I had horse stew once when I was in northern China and it just tastes like beef jerky. Ostrich meat also tastes exactly like beef but is much tastier and tender. Alligator is actually served quite often here in Texas, though I haven't tired that either. On a similar note, frog's legs taste EXACTLY like chicken.

Never had tofu lasagna, but I'm always open to try new things. Do you have the recipe? :)

I chose the last option because you didn't include Macaroni and cheese in the poll:)
