    1. Advise a downloader(on Vista pc i use Flashget and enjoy it), Speed Download is shareware+interface is not too friendly. some pals recomended:
iGetter, Leech, Download Queue, Download Wizard, and Download Manager, but which one to choose, which is better ?

    2. Which application delete program would you suggest:
    а) AppZapper
    b) CleanApp
    c) AppDelete

    3. need a prog. for .RAR files ( not Stuffit, cos it has unfriendly interface for me, imho), which is better:
    Unrar X,
    Simply Rar
    UnArchiver

    1. Leech is a pretty good one, and I'd recommend it.

    2. I use AppZapper, but AppDelete and AppZapper are pretty much the same thing with a different UI in terms of what it deletes. I use AppZapper because of the sound effects though... :D :p

    3. Unrarx is great! I love it, and it works fantastic. +1 for Unrarx for stability and functionality. ;)

    No problem Jimmy! :)

    1. Picasa is pretty good, but it's still getting there. I'd use Picasa if I didn't have iPhoto. ;)

    2. Yes and no. Yes you could every other month or so, just to clean out the cache's/browsing history etc., but not an all out system cleanup. But you don't really have to do that, as that's mainly a pre-cautionary step to keeping it cleaned up.

    3. You can use PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM (667MHz). That's the only type your computer will allow. ;) Well surely you're going to gain performance, but obviously not as much as 4GB. Your Macbook will only see 3GB of it, so I think it'll give a noticeable performance increase. ;)

    good, also concerning browsers :
i use Firefox, but for Safari there is a great add-on called Glims - it automatically maximizes browsing window, is there any similar add-on for Firefox?

As far as I know, my FireFox automatically maximizes my browser window, and I haven't really made any changes to the settings. I prefer FF, but Safari is also going to be a great browser after 4 is officially released. ;)

I am not a huge fan of maximizing the browser window. what is the point of doing it? Safari can automatically fit the window by the content of the window.
By the way, I am using a 17 inch macbook pro

You can change that by using the green button in the top left hand corner of your window if you'd like, or you could go in the preferences in FF to change it. ;) I use it because I can get more content without scrolling. :)
