Just got an optx aw2310 monitor. Supposed to b 3d capable, but for the life of me, can't figure out how to get 120hz refresh rate for 3d! Tried hdmi->dvi cable, hdmi->hdmi cable, even a mini-dp->dvi adaptor plus the original dvi cable that came with the monitor! Using the latest nvidia drivers, but still no luck. 120 and 3d on the laptop screen is fine though...
Anyone got any thoughts or tips?

Connect your monitor to your laptop, then right click on the desktop, go to screen resolution, and you should see your monitor there. See if you can change the hz from there. I did it with my sony, but I'm not home right now, so I can't exactly give you a lot of help.

Tried that, but can't get more than 60hz. Someone mentioned something about dual link dvi? But the machine does not have dvi, only vga, hdmi and mini dp....

    Could force profile with Powerstrip:

At your own risk of course.

EnTech Taiwan | Utilities | PowerStrip

Have the display information picked up stored and try and force refresh rate, might work.

Well, I "Know" you need the hdmi to dual dvi, something about each connector only being able to produce 60hz, hence the need for 2.

Beyond that, i'm not sure how the drivers or 3D enabling would work on the OptX moniter.
