Oil Light?

    Well, you did not sound like you were offended by my post.
    It sounded as if you understood that I was emphasizing the importance of not ignoring a low oil condition.
    I had to learn my lesson the hard way.


    (Edit: Maybe I need to get rid of the smiley cow........makes everything I say sparkle with sarcasm, but I love smiley cow...... :()

    I checked my oil level. It was pretty low, so I had to add more. I don't know if I leaked oil or it just burned some up...

    like i said, i was just kidding, man. "hateful" was probably a wrong word to choose. apologize for that.

    Old cars will do that, if its old?

    My 98 CSVT used to eat oil like crazy, got the oil filter changed, oil changed, and replaced the air filter and there have been NO eating of the oil lately.

    Sometimes if your car is getting to old then you can go with a heavier oil also, this will help keep the pressure up.
