So an odd driver issue or setting then, at least you can unleash the beast now :)

Here's a great review of this beast in the much preferred EVOC variety offered by our friends at HIDevolution. Nobody else makes a notebook that can touch this. Build quality, cooling and performance are outstanding. Also, featuring @Prema BIOS.

That was a great review. Really wish I could justify calling Donald and setting up an order right now. But my 2600K + 290X desktop has to come first. That was my original plan since I already have my throttlebook:

    1) Get a Dell S2716DG monitor, and see if I can get ULMB+Gsync working simultaneously via mini DP on my GT73VR throttlebook. It works perfectly on a desktop Nvidia card, but I've seen some Shenanigans with laptops and custom resolutions. If the Green Goblin stops adding +5 (?) to the vertical total to trick ULMB to working at the same time as Gsync, even the great Prema God can't help me here.

    2) get a modern CPU, motherboard and Video card into my Corsair 760T case. Too bad modern video cards are not attainable right now unless you pay 200% MSRP. Sad days when a laptop is actually cheaper than a desktop because of that markup.

    3) Throw my throttlebook in the bin. Or sell it somewhere.

Sell it. There are plenty of people out there with standards that are low enough to accept it exactly as it is.

Not yet. @Mr. Fox I'm a very weird person. I can't sell an abortion to anyone unless I hate them.
After I get my Clevo, I'm going continue to see if there is a way to disable the Zener overcurrent protection.
    You dealt with it yourself.

Do you remember when you set the setting "PS Current Threshold 1" to a value of 512?
And you put a load on your 16L13 and it shut off and rebooted?
Apparently any value higher than 299 (there is an exact value cutoff, I don't know what yet. I get...scared when stuff shuts off in front of my face...yes I told you I'm weird) causes this.
And it's caused by those Zener Diodes.

@BeastsForever.TheDragon is apparently studying microelectronics over at university. I'm hoping he actually gets hired over at MSI and can actually talk some sense into their engineers. He saw first hand a MSIbook *blow up* during an exhibition over in India. It was a GT83VR using a 7820HK processor which the rep tried to unlock the power limits on, and the VRMs just exploded, but you get it.

Besides I enjoy breaking stuff :) stuff that isnt my daily driver. bad habit of mine :( Maybe I'll go break someone's skulls in some PUBG today instead of taking my wantonness and sadistic evil tendencies out on throttlebooks.

BTW did Clevo fix their heatsink QA shenanigans on their P870 vapor chamber line? Or will HIDevolution have to take care of that for me?
