The main reason for they haven't pushed out new yet. Would be terrible for Intel's reputation if they screwed up a second time:D

Thanks, could definitely work on the CPU side now. Looking forward to seeing what can be done.

I'm sure they would throw out all they have of alpha/beta emergency fixes if the web was flooded of attacks against the new security issues.

Ok ive decided P775tm1 is what im ordering on the 21st of this month. I was going to order a P751 MR fox has swayed me to get something with better cooling, i was really worried about temps. Plus, i wanted something in between 1080P, and 4K. Without scaling issues, and tiny font. Theres also unsteady gameplay performance of under 40 fps sometimes with 4k.

I also needed more screen real estate for doing professional cad work and projects in school

Ive stayed under budget with this build. Ive read good things about this TN panel. And bad things. There is no such thing as a perfect laptop display. It does not exist yet. I think everyone wants a 1440P HDR 144Hz 100% adobe rgb gsync panel lol. Unfortunately its not available. There pretty close with desktops. But there will always be that new feature thats not available, in the near perfect panel that has most of the options.

    P775TM1-G Z370 Eurocom X7C
    1440P G-sync TN panel 120Hz
    Add Gsync capabilities
    Intel i5 8600K 3.6Ghz
    Delid CPU, + unlocked bios
    gtx 1080 8GB mxm gpu
    2x8gb ddr4 2400mhz
    Windows 10 home 64bit
    1tb 7200rpm hdd mechanical
    Intel AC 9260 1.67gbps/BT 5.0

    Total cost $2,250 USD

Is it possible to run 4.6Ghz on all 6 cores with delid, some mirror finish lapping, and good thermal paste?

Ive already bought a m.2 nvme 960 evo from newegg for $110 to go in it. I want 2 in raid 0. But, its stretching my budget.

Eurocom was asking $250 for the same thing.

I would have the storage drive removed as well but, they only take $35 off the price, so its worth keeping it in the build.

    Im being cheap lol.

This is alot of money for me anyways. My first expensive laptop.
