Wow, I was not expecting another 15" chassis from Clevo but here it is: Review Intel Sandy Bridge Quad-Core processors - Notebookcheck.net Reviews

But I don't understand why Clevo used so much aluminum for the cooling the CPU. On the other hand the GPU seems to have a dedicated heatpipe for its memory, that's a step foward. Overall the cooling looks weaker than on the W8x0CU series.

So it's a W880cu rebrand with a sandy bridge chipset with weaken cooling !?

    Edit: awesome performer !

It looks more like the chassis is based on the newer B5100M line, as it is also really slim compared to the W8x0CU chassis. I wonder how hot this GPU will get (it has 2 GB of GDDR5 - might be a 100W monster again) and the i7-2920XM needs some overclocking headroom as well. Looks like there will be a full review in two days if the GTX 485M is officially announced.

BTW the GTX 485M has one benchmark on notebookcheck (Dirt 2):
    Holy crap...

Notebookcheck doesn't always run their benchmarks under the same conditions from one review to the next...and they also average their scores on top of that which often skews results.

It's why their GPU rankings are generally considered unreliable.

You'll find a few posters on NBR that know the rankings.

P for performance, 15 for size, 0 for generation, HM for chipset?
