Just want to confirm with you that under the nvidia control panel, there is no Gsync options even shown correct?

If the Gsync option is available straight out of the box (before connecting to the internet and doing any updates) or after a factory reset, the problem may lay with how windows 10 handles its updates and might have failed to install a driver.

If you are having issues with Gsync not showing up completely, try a factory reset and see if its there. If not, might have to wait for an bios update.

Glad you at least got an answer, even if it's not a good one.

What part of the world do you live in? And if you don't mind, how much was your laptop? We haven't seen pricing information here in the US, so I'm curious as to what they're going for.

I just an answer from our HQ team. They did in fact find out it has to do with the bios and the Nvidia drivers. Once the new bios is out, please update to it and the Gsync should work!

The Model he bought is a singapore model, so im assuming somewhere in that region. the prices there will be a little bit skewed compared to the US prices though.

Got a pre release bios from the distributor. Updated and g-sync is there.....great?
    1st thing, g-sync does work.
2nd thing, still not able to use nvidia drivers, only able to use msi drivers. nvidia drivers still complaining no compatible hardware found.
3rd experience occasional flicker / quick black screens in games. Severe black screening in 3dmark firestrike..........
4th everytime when windows 10 shuts down, i will get a " unable to write to memory a certain address error message. This error was there since fresh out of the box btw.
5th panel is still 60hz. Read everywhere that its suppose to be 75hz now?

So all I can say is, hold up on purchasing this until MSI gets this fixed. Have been getting msi machines for my office, but very disappointed they release such a product.

Yup got it from Singapore. And yup price is a little skewed. my sku is 014sg, so guess my configuration is unique to Singapore?

Great screen and great audio though.

Hi could MSI create an official adapter to utilize the 2nd hdd bay in the GT72? It would make sense IMO.

Too early to say anything about this, and some details are probably under NDA.
