It takes escalation from MSI to Synaptics and then Microsoft. This is why you need to report it, as well as other customers.
MSI cannot fix this issue on their own.

You know I get that. I tried submitting it a bunch of times without success. However, it just finally worked and went in this evening.

Would this allow me to enable coasting? I came to this forum specifically to see if anyone could tell me how to enable this feature on my GP75's touchpad.

It may or may not. Doesn't hurt to try and can be reverted back if it doesn't. :)

Hi, what is the dead pixel policy of MSI. As I had planned to order a gaming laptop from HID-Evolution,I heard that the pixel test passes upto 3 pixels in a brand new unit. Is this true?

Or is it that you thoroughly check the screens to have none of the dead pixels before shipping?

Or I have to compulsorily take the 30 days pixel guarantee pack from HID?

But will it be a problem with dead pixels ?

And also when you are paying more than 1000-1200$ , do you like to get a laptop display with these issues?

Does the GS75 Stealth with 9th gen i9 and 2070/2080 Max Q come with a 90 watt version of the GPU? I’ve seen conflicting reports.

If not, can a 90 watt vbios be provided so we can flash it ourselves?

Panels nowadays are pretty good but that doesn't mean it's 100% defect-free.
But there's an option to get zero dead pixel if you purchase the option from any of the resellers from NBR forum. This may be something that you want to look into. :)

    GE75 9 series.
SDHC should be connected via USB3 interface not 2.0 Its got 2 USB 3 ports on that daughter board next to the slot, there is zero excuses for this, this is some corner cutting terrible engineering.
    Thunderbolt 3 support.
Gsync support - though heard there are tech limitations due to nvidia optimums on this one?
1440 panel. I'll take a refresh rate hit to 120hz if we can get a 1440 panel instead of 1080 one. Though I'm not sure if such 17.1" panel exists...
    IPS class panel.
Beef up CPU cooling if space permits as we're on 8 core CPUs now. Maybe an extra heat pipe but maybe adding another one would yield diminishing returns.
All USB 3 A ports upgraded to 3.1.

Gladly would pay more for the laptop if it had these additions.
