Awesome that should do the job! I only need one. I was gonna be surprised if a 7820hk laptop couldn't support at least one nvme drive. I went with the crucial which seems to have decent reviews.

I also think I'm subbed to your YouTube, appreciate the response.

Is raid support available in some capacity for 2 slots then?

I returned the laptop. It had a bad ground.

Mouse pointer would at random click, drag or jump around if I used the touchpad while making contact to the laptop chassis with my other hand. I believe the touchpad had a bad ground.

Yup, that seems like it, sometimes the assembly isn't done properly so the contact isn't fully secured to the touch surface. Hopefully the replacement will be perfect.

It's bitter sweet. It took a long while to confirm the defect and get my refund back that I'm now considering an RTX laptop. It's just that we know so little on what a base 2060 can handle for mobile.

I know exactly how that feels, since not all symptoms are easily replicate-able sometimes, or it takes awhile to figure out that it's hardware-related but not software-related issue. RTX is definitely an awesome choice. :)

Seems to be, depending on model, anywhere between a 1070 max q and a stock 1070. It's weird, there is not enough testing yet.

My guess it fits the 1070 level, since the 2070 is on the 1080 level.
