it has 3 m.2 slots. Two of them are NVME and one is m.2 SATA only. Meaning that the last slot is caped at SATA speeds (750 MB/s), while the first 2 slots can go as fast as (4 GB/s) depending on the PCI-E.

    for example:________READ________________WRITE
    SATA III_______6.0 Gb/s (750 MB/s)____4.8 Gb/s (600 MB/s)
    PCI-E 2.0 x2___8 Gb/s (1 GB/s)________6.4 Gb/s (800 MB/s)
    PCI-E 2.0 x4___16 Gb/s (2 GB/s)______12.8 Gb/s (1.6 GB/s)
    PCI-E 3.0 x4___32 Gb/s (4 GB/s)______31.5 Gb/s (3.9 GB/s)

Also a SATA m.2 SSD actually has 2 notches on the PCV board that looks like this:___|||||___|||||||||||||||||||___|||||||

While a NVME PCV board connecter looks lie this:___|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||___|||||||

So you wont be able to plug in a NVMEinto the 3rd slot because the laptop will have an extra notch that will cause the NVME board not to fit.

You can however put a SATA m.2 into an NVME slot.

Do MSI reps still visit here? Wondering if it's possible to get the GS65 Stealth THIN-259 fingerprint sensor power button for the new GS65/75 from support or something and replace it yourself since there hasn't been any mention of Windows Hello for them

Sorry I did a quick copy and paste from a chart, didn’t fully check it so I guess the numbers are not exact, but it showed well enough the difference between them

It’s been quite because NVIDIA has a NDA out or something similar. They are not even allowed to take pre orders until it ends.

January 29th is when the NDA ends so I’m guessing that there will be a flood of information then including reviews.

Been looking for some information myself, but HID has been pretty helpful answering any questions that I've had. Looking forward to Tuesday!
