    You could email MSI, if you have another registered product - file a ticket asking how to continue to get the "standard" 2 year warranty on new laptops.

    No, it's the AUO 4K panel. IPS refers to LG's particular implementation of the technology. AUO calls theirs AHVA.

    "IPS-Level" means it makes use of In-Plane Switching (IPS).

    Any idea MSI when your going to send out Bios Updates for Skylake / Kabylake systems that have the Hyperthreading bug ? I have Skylake system with the effected issue, already sent in a Support ticket to which was a waste of time as they came back with a stupid response of that the 11D bios for my system has the fix already which bios in question was released in 2016-07-05 intel didn't send the Fix for the hyper threading bug till april this year!

    Maybe they were confused because skylake also had a previous bug that was addressed? The Hyperthreading bug is more recent, so they might have no fix yet. You should also help clarify that with support, and it is great that you brought the issue to their attention.
