For those of you that are interested PCspecialist now have a P870DM2 up for sale, so dual 1070s, and P870DM3 (dual 1080s) at a pretty decent price, cheapest I have seen this side of the Atlantic, why isn't Europe getting any solo 1080 love for the P870DM? that is all I am asking for, I don't want SLI, I don't care for SLI, specially when the second card is gonna cost me a kidney ...

It really depends on whether you're a health enthusiast or not; two kidneys running in SLI offer significant advantages, even when compared to dual 1080s.

    Close to 0.
I think they will only attempt a 1050 Ti on lower end laptop refreshes.

Disappointing. I just assumed on Trend from desktop that there would be one. Plus I do think the gap is way to far from 1060-1070, much further than the desktop 960-970 and 960m-970m of 3000 points (fire strike gpu)
Vs currently 6000 points between the 1060&1070.
I just thought a 1060 Ti would close the difference a bit plus It can make sense because of the rumours of pushing Volta forward, rather than making a refresh for the 11 series. Just get them all out now.
But that's me wishfully thinking out loud hoping another 14" alternative. Quite disappointed that the mobile 1060 was not on par with the desktop version. It's just a little bit past a 980m. It's good...but not that good. Why is it that of all 3 cards. That's the furtherest away from its desktop version
