    The weakest 2080Max-Q is more like 36% of RTX 2080 Fe’s TDP:D 80 vs. 225W

Yeah, the most crippled variant of this high end graphics cards. Created to be able to run in thinnest possible notebook models. Aka design before functionality.

At 80W TDP, it is barely a GTX 1060, and barely

They also make a 90W RTX 2080MQ with higher clocks.

This meme is the only answer that works for this situation :)

They are really going to the bottom with this. I really think it is a poor marketing stunt to pull in those who don't even study what they purchase.

Jarrod just tested the P775TM and I
I am worried why did he only get 23500 graphics points in 3DMark FireStrike, this is pretty low for an RTX 2080, my old factory overclocked gtx 1080 could get this.

    Software issue ?
    Overheating issue ?
Or bad power phase design ? (11 single phase fet)

hmm....so if i run a game uncapped the moment that the GPU load hits 99% the core clock drops to about 900-1000MHz for no reason and therefore causes the fps to tank. It seems to be doing it for all games and as a result I have to cap the fps to where it won't peak at 99% GPU load.

Sounds like you have a driver issue (have you DDU'd?) or another "broken" laptop
