What about compatibility of this 1070 with clevo P170EM(sager NP9170)? And could i received from you a couple of photos that shows the set of "1060" for p170em? I'm really wondering what means that "power cable" in the offert:

Couldn't help but notice linus say there's rumors nVidia wants to end support for MXM all-together.

    nVidia is up to something!

They are working on releasing a new GPU sometime soon, all prices have touched rock bottom in Romania, I'm sure they are working on something right as we speak!

When does the Nvidia GT 1040 come? Will it ever come? Kinda waiting for something in between the mx150 and 1050 gtx... (which should be similar to 750Ti or 960m performance).

Btw. if anyone stumbles across the rumor of an Ideapad 320s having a GT 1040 on a polish website - this has been corrected (changed to mx150).

For the ones who find this wish ridiculous... let me tell you what is really ridiculous: an mx110 and mx130... which have both been seen already. There really is no need for a dedicated gpu below the mx150, as this can be replaced by Intel HD gpus.

How can one avoid those Qrippled versions? Which videocards do come in this flavor exactly? For example, is there like a 0 chance to get a crippled 1050ti? Or all Pascal GTX cards will also come in crippled form?

Avoid "thin and light's" or anything with a max Q tag.

Edit: also it's limited to just laptop cards. Any desktop card that isn't running to full potential is just defective.

Unfortunately for you, most notebooks with the GTX 1050, GTX 1050 Ti, GTX 1060 and even GTX 1070 are 'thin' by this community's standards. Look at the Clevo PA70HS, for example.
