Newegg Shuffle is up with a slew of 3060's ranging in price from $329 to $519, single 3070 @ $719 and PS5s at $779 (!).

Best Buy had a drop earlier. I actually ordered a Merc 319 6900xt ($1499, yeah, ok) just to see if I could then cancelled it. I did notice my local small box best buy is no longer eligible for pickup. I would have to travel 46 miles to the King of Prussia, PA Best Buy. Odd.

Best Buy has really cleaned up and streamlined their ordering process. Even if you're signed in they require a text or email verification before you can order both on the app and online.

I always like checking EVGA right before a new product sign up and watching their site still continue to slow to a crawl and eventually crash in spots. I signed up for a 3060 on EVGA and the lower end ($329) 3060's on the Shuffle. If I manage to get one I can upgrade my wife's 1060 to a 3060 and end up paying less than $100 difference with how much 1060 6GB are going for atm.

Yeah I just looked at my 5700XT price and its seeming to go for 1000-1500 now, Microcenter has some Nitro+ 6800XT's near me so I have been a little tempted to go for the free upgrade...

If I get my laptop back with a 1080 in it, that will easily hold me over during the whole process if not then oh well Im still satisfied with my desktop anyways lol

I was on there trying to get the nvidia card to add to my cart. It wouldn't. Then the button went to out of stock shortly after. Best buy sucks trying to buy from them. Not a fan.

So I did put in for the shuffle from Newegg.

Last night, Amazon had 5800x's in stock for quite awhile.

Today, Best Buy has 5800x's and even 3700x's in stock even now. Sold out of everything else, but oddly their 8/16 core models are in abundance.

You would almost think they are making sure they are getting ready for the 11th gen launch.....

I also re-ordered a 5800x. After seeing my brother's 5600x system I built with no OC, a low profile cooler for a smaller case boost to 4.6ghz all cores sub 80 and clearly beat my old OC'd 8086k @ 5.3 in CB15, CB20 and CB23 I have to get one to stack up against my 9900k @ 5.2. That was using the exact same Dual Rank B-Die 3200 sticks at stock XMP. It has officially become an itch I have to scratch.....

I didn't even see the 3080 come into stock. I saw the 3070 briefly and Merc 319's 6900xt's (Black and Ultra) in stock. I also saw the 5950x and 5900x for a hot second then gone. I signed up for EVGA as soon as I could get through and the shuffle so we'll see how that turns out tonight. I only signed up for the $329 6GB models and one $399 12GB model.

Yep, on best buy I tried for the 3080, but that went out on the first attempt. The 3070 I tried to add to my cart. Nope. Tried again when it turned yellow again. Nope. It never turned yellow again. They had one more 3070, that one being an Asus for $730 or $750. At that point I gave up and just put in for the newegg shuffle.

That is why i hate best buy so much. I get there early enough that I get multiple attempts to add to the cart, but it never adds it and you are not guaranteed it until you add to cart AND make it to the cart/checkout screen. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth how close I've been on so many occasions on best buys website.

    Edit:

Even though this helps competition against me getting a card, for Best Buy, a couple tips:

    1) have the tab open in GPUs, then filter for Exclude Out of Stock Items. You will see "coming soon" on some GPUs. THOSE are the ones you open a tab for.

    2) have at least one audible stock notification system so that when it says it is in stock, you can quickly refresh the page.

    3) Click add to cart, see it turn gray and have the notice pop up saying you must have it added to cart and be in your cart to buy it, along with it will turn back to yellow when they release another batch in a couple minutes.

    4) still miss out doing all these things.

EVGA 3080 FTW3 stock should be in soon (and out just as fast). Could be a Friday inventory shipment, which has happened a bit recently, whereas earlier in the Nvidia search, Tuesdays had inventory alerts more.

    https://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-g...ess-4-0-graphics-card/6436193.p?skuId=6436193

This is another card listed as coming soon. So if you want a 3090 FTW3 for $1,800, maybe you will have some luck.

Those are the steps I've used before to try and get cards to a degree. It's worked so far on a FE 3090 and FE 3070. It worked on the Merc 319 6900xt Black today, but I am not dropping $1500+tax to give AMD a whirl on that one. After I ordered it, I did think about it though for a few minutes before cancelling it.

I guess the steps to slow down automation via text/email authentication are a blessing and a curse. You're right; getting it into the basket and making it to actual checkout where it is reserved is where it all falls apart.

Newegg let me know I didn't win the shuffle...again. I know some who sign up for everything, but I just pick the ones I truly want.

EVGA 3060's are going out to the initial round of buyers/auto notifiers. Looks like I'm ~20min behind the last reported auto notify.

$1800 for a 3090 FTW3 is the going rate, but I'm still licking my wounds over the $2k+tax for the Kingpin 3090 in my system now.

Building rigs for a few clients. I have been able to get a 3080 FTW3 Ultra and Asus 3060 Strix. Both through and from newegg.com. The prices are crazy though. I can't believe they are charging 519 for the 3060 but people are desperate.

Yeah, I didn't get the shuffle, unfortunately.

    Edit:

Buildzoid went through a video going over current ram kits. What is funny is he selected this kit as the benchmark (now sold out):

    https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820374018?Item=N82E16820374018

    That is the 2x16GB 4000 17-18-18-38 Trident Z RGB kit from G.Skill for $310.

The same timings and voltage (1.4V) and frequency can be found on this kit of G.Skill Ripjaws V for $280

    https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820374018?Item=N82E16820374018

I'd bet the exact same sticks under the hood, so the question is do you want to pay $30 for RGB.

Also, since posting above, the 4000 2x8gb dropped to $146, the 4266 2x8GB is now $165, and the 4400 2x8GB is still $191. So the new sweet spot is the 4266, but any of those kits is gravy.

    https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820374048
    4266 2x16GB 17-18-18-38 1.5V $325.

Best Buy still has and now even Newegg has 5800x's in spades ready for purchase. 5600x, 5900x, 5950x? Sorry charlie, but 5800x? Come and get 'em! Who needs that new Intel 8 core right?

I ended up going with an X570 Tomahawk.Seems to be the sweet spot for performance without breaking the bank and one of the newer X570 boards with USB 3.1 gen 2. It's daisy chain, but I'll still see where I can take my 4x8 4000 B-die kit and/or get a 2x16GB set of dual ranks but they can get real pricey too. I'm find with a set of 3600 sticks @ 1:1 or hope for the best with the 4000's and see if I can get stock XMP out of them and adjust 2:1 to 1:1.

I was looking at this kit: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WTS8T2W/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A2Y8CGQ5110ZKT&psc=1 because price wise it is a little easier on the pocket.

I'm going to set it up in my old Corsair case because there's no way I'm breaking down my almost finished 9900k KPE build out. I have a NH-D15 to use initially on the shelf and I'll just borrow the wife's 1060 when able till I get a 3060 or pick up a dirt cheap whatever card to get it up and running while tweaking and testing.
