I was surprised you were going to sell it to your friend at all, especially with how difficult it is to acquire that card.

I would not have even queued up for it back in December if he had not wanted one, but in hindsight I'm glad I did when all was said and done. I will just say I'm a cash and carry kind of guy and I pay when I say I will and expect others to do the same.

As for the 3070, crazy part was getting messaged even after by buyers asking if I had any more at that price ready and willing to buy whatever I had.

First I have heard of that, thanks for sharing.

Not having any issues on my Aorus ITX x570 board and I regularly connect/disconnect via a usb 4 port switch (knock on wood)

I like it. Where did you order this one from?

    Is it an EK?

Hummm, I have seen this as well, but to be fair....I see it more with Intel and far more of a problem with Logitech unify wireless products.

This is the EK Pro manifold. They also have a version for $20 more that is meant for 2 CPUs and 4 GPUs. This one is $80. I got it from performance pcs. They were out of the larger manifold when I bought it.

But, I'm also mounting it on a server rack and it's going to 3 (eventually 4) systems. Each system has their own pump and reservoir, while there is the larger reservoir setup just higher than the 4x480mm rads i have at the top of the loop.

Amazon charges like $100 for the version I got. I forgot if modmymods has it or not.

I am on EK's site checking them out now. I see the ones for $100/$139 on amazon as well. Still sold by EK, but still cost a bit more.

So this particular model is divided down the middle?

BTW, if anyone is looking for some good ram that doesn't break the bank (badly at least):
    https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820374020

    G.Skill Ripjaws V 4000 2x8GB CL 17-18-18-38 for $160. Hard to beat that deal.

    https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820374021

    G.Skill Ripjaws V 4000 2x16GB CL 17-18-18-38 for $270.

The G.Skill 4266 is $200 for the same CL, but that is 25% more price for a little over 5% more frequency, although that is lower latency (also uses 1.45V instead of 1.4V like the 4000 sticks).

So if trying to get some decent ram relatively cheap, that would be my recommendation (mine are Trident Z 4133 CL19-21-21 so these sticks likely spank mine due to lower timings out of the box, even if I can tighten mine to 16-18-18).

    Edit:

    4000 CL17 is 8.5ns; 4400 CL17 is 7.73ns

    Found a better deal.

G.Skill Ripjaws V 4400 2x8GB CL 17-18-18-38 for $191 (10% faster with about 10% less latency for about 20% more in cost than the 4000 sticks above)
