Here are some pics for you. M11X and an Asus EEE PC 1000 HA. The M11X is just little bit bigger but noticeably heavier.

So has anyone been able to figure out how to fix the dimming of the monitor? The screen will dim after a certain period of time, but even when i move the mouse/click the keyboard it won't go back to the brightness it was on. And it always dims to the lowest brightness even though I told it to dim to 2 bars.

I heard of a guy who put the 1tb drive into his m11x. I think the drive is just a little bit thicker than the factory one, but there is just enough space for it to go in.

I don't think CPU-Z will you give you that information, but HWiNFO32 will tell you all you need to know.

I just stopped using Alienware Fusion for power schemes. Fusion is buggy and I only run Command Center when I need/want to change the lighting scheme.

Using the power management system provided by Win. adjusts screen dimming just fine. Just be sure to disable all the startup services that have anything to do with Fusion.

From facial recog. using up Proc. time, turning off battery charging option being broken to ALienware Fusion being bugged, we, the owners of the M11x, need an updated BIOS, drivers, and an update to the COmmand Center.

It would really be nice to have updated nVidia hybrid drivers and a Command Center software that I would actually voluntarily use.

    Hey Dell, you listening?!
