Well now I have to wonder whether it's even worth it to order the Kingston. The V-Color stick that came with the machine basically does not exist, can't find it anywhere for sale other than a french reseller on ebay and a chinese site charging 5188 yuan ($754) a pop.

tbh, I think is best if you order the RAM when you ordered the computer with a reseller. Few people use RAM listed in the compatible list (https://imgur.com/dVvd2vY) yet they are having problems. This should be able to be fix with a BIOS update but still waiting. Unless you can return the RAM without any fees, I would suggest to wait.

try to install only one RAM and boot first, if it could be powered on successfully, then install another one and try again

Actually, I'm probably the "french reseller on eBay". Indeed, I sold a few days ago on eBay the V-Color stick that came with the laptop. Replaced it with some G.skill 2666 MHz (ref F4-2666C18S-16GRS - basically, the same that was installed on the test machines sent to the Aero 15X v8 reviewers). It now works like a charm, so I'd recommend to go with this option if you could.

Anyone know how to find change log for the last BIOS version FB07 for Aero 15x ? I mean it's have optimization and issues fix or it's have only add new memory compatible. Thx

I did all kinds of combination, single channel with the new ram, different ram slot with the new ram. None of them is working unless I boot with the original ram. confused me a lot.

This just happened to me today. It was working one minute; after leaving and returning, it was dead. Nothing gets power anymore. Right side is fine.
