Hi, how did you install the ram? did you unplug the battery to completely drain any power from the mobo?

    Many thanks.

Hi, I'm having issue with Kingston KVR26S19d8 - 16 ram, the laptop just went straight into blank screen after booting.

Hi my Aero 15x monitor is stuck @ 64hz with no other refresh options available. Has anyone else run into this problem?

I'm getting the exact same issue with the same ram sticks, identical to the issue mentioned above.

Can we get a response on this asap? I've got a second stick of ram sitting in the packet that I cannot use currently.

I just opened it and installed the new hardware, didn't do anything special.

    [EDIT] fixed through hardware manager

What's the full name for the latest audio driver for Gigabyte 15x? My Smart Update Manager doesn't work, so I'll have to find it manually. I have disabled my sound driver while using sound recording software and now it wouldn't re enable. In fact it acts as if I don't even have the driver installed. Never had this issue on my Clevo laptop - the driver would show up and allow me to reenable it.
