I believe the F3/F4 functionality is provided by Gigabyte's Smart Manager software? Does the brightness control from within that control panel function?

    Hello Everyone,

i am waiting for my aero 15 to arrive and while preparing things i bought a 960 Evo SSD as well. Is there someone who could provide any info on the following:
    - does a clean install remove the Pantone calibration? Do i need to backup something that cannot be downloaded from Gigabyte's site?
    - I would like to get an extra charger for the office but i am not able to locate any store? Would a universal charger work or are there any risks?

    thank you all in advance,

Any one know if the thunderbolt 3 is a direct PCI-e x4 connection ? (this would mean better eGPU performance)

Yes. Unlike the XPS15, it is a PCIEx4.

Yes, I would back up the color profile from C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

Sorry, I really don't know anything about what could cause this file to be cleared or could have it restored. Just feels like smart policy to me to have it stored somewhere in a safe location (like a cloud drive, etc.) so you're prepared for whatever may happen.

I'm able to adjust the brightness via CP, I'll check out the Smart Manager Software. Thanks
