Could somebody measure the height of the 9900k chip please including the stock IHS.

I am coming from a 7700k to a 9900k and i have a 1 piece GPU / CPU W/C heatsink, so i need to know if there is a height difference between the 2 and if so how much

It's a KM1 with a custom watercooled heatsink block from China for the 1080's and CPU :)

ha sweet i also had a 5.2 rated 7700K and was able to run it at 4.8 Ghz 24/7 (benching at 5.1 ghz, cpu-z validation at 5.4) :D hows the watercooled heatsink block working for ya?

i dont think you will have any troubles switching to the 9900K :)

Hey mate, it cools the 7700k really well.
Hopefully not, I'm going to get one soon =)
Just worried about the IHS height difference between the 7700k vs 9900k

9900k is 0.4mm taller from memory. I will have a look through old posts from Nov last year to check, I think Derba8er also mentioned this in one of his YouTube videos

The stock heatsink with its spring tension went on no problem
