I've confirmed it on two P870DM-G's that UEFI disabled really makes the systems go sideways.

    1. Flashing, blinking BIOS menus that can and will freeze
    2. Suddenly GPU isn't detected or you get two short beeps followed by continuous single beeps and a black screen on power up.

If you get 1, you can at least sometimes enable UEFI mode to get things back again.
If you get 2, a manual flash is required (again).

Also 980 desktop is still detected as "unknown" in BIOS and secondary fan may require manual fan control.
I finally had a chance to test a 980m and 970m. They are detected properly.

I downsized to a 970m in my personal unit to free up the secondary slot for flash fixes/testing cards that cross my way and working on an enhanced CPU cooling project.
Everything is running right as rain. With the beefy P870DM primary GPU heatsink/fan, 970m tops out at like 63 running Superposition extreme so
the system is ridiculously quiet when gaming now (Diablo 3 and WoW). Maybe a few years from now I'll throw in a 1060/1070.

Does that BIOS support RTX and GTX?
BTW there isn't a file with that name in the BIOS FILES folder. Only: P7xxTM1_B0724.rom

And according to the excel that isn't the one I should flash be the previous one I told u and asked about. (I even re-downloaded the file in OP to make sure I was up to date) as you can see here:

    Guys,
I have shooted dsanke's bios in my backup laptop - p775dm3, and I have found out some piece of good news :) I used to have the chi-mei 1080p 120hz, which never worked with gsync, however it is a gsync display. The same used in the MSI gt73/gt75. I assume when the first 775tm1 came out, there was no ips 144hz, so they launched with this chimei display. After the new bios and screen replacement, gsync came up! Amazing. I have made some quick tests with my silicon lottery 8600k and wow! I have pretty good result, I will show you later! PRetty amazed!
