That ought not to be a problem. They should be pin compatible, but you can usually dig up the datasheet to check.

Yep, both Giga chips. I've manually flashed all three units to Dsanke and they're up and running. I will configure them with 8700k's, new M1000's to replace the dying dead ones in them and ship them back to their owner Monday. Thanks for the input. It is greatly appreciated and saved me a ton of leg work especially because I was ready to break them down just like the P870xx's I did before.

Most likely you have to disassemble the whole laptop since the BIOS chip is under that metal place on the left of that chip. Usually BIOS chips are from Winbond something..

Page 75 of the Service Manual:
    https://prnt.sc/wdyk1v

The BIOS chip is under the metal plate! So a full disassembly of the laptop is required to access the said chip!

On my P775DM3-G for example i did use a dremel to cut the metal as you can see for easy access to the chip to avoid a full disassembly and only need to remove the keyboard to access it:

As you can see, its not the chip under the keyboard connection cable but the one under the metal plate!

Can be wrong with the P750DM but i highly doubt it

Nope but it was due to the limit time I had my friend do it for me due do the limitations of the virus and social distancing. Need to perfect it but I isolated it with kapton tape, so I'm not worried at all about it

Just curious if the seller you are dealing with is Mr Su,
    As mentioned in this video?
    https://linustechtips.com/topic/1234746-the-ruthless-economy-pc/

Is it worth reaching out to Mr Su and seeing if he intends to modify our bios to add support for the QQLS?

It's obviously going to take more than simply injecting a specific microcode?

Or can it really be that simple?

Because as per this video, we know at the very least, Mr Su injects microcode 906EC.

@dsanke would you suspect that this is possible, the only change required is microcode ?

Though if 906EC is required, I suspect that's already in the dsanke modded bios files...

The seller from aliexpress wrote to me that such a processor was installed on the clevo P775 laptop. Naturally, before that we changed the processor's code in the BIOS, and I don’t know what they did. I already bought a processor. waiting for the package to arrive. I already changed the BIOS with the kofelake program, added the necessary microcode processors. I only know one thing, for laptops of my model, clevo P870 dmg1, I will have to disassemble the laptop, so that with the BIOS protection programmer, as I have already done. my BIOS was installed on a laptop from Dsanke. By the way, the kofelake program was also made, with the help of this gentleman. To me, this program received this BIOS from Dsanke, and I saw everything in the program, and added the necessary microcode processors, and support for the laptop socket 1441. so kind of. As soon as I receive the package, I will be busy flashing the BIOS, and try to install this 9900 laptop processor. I added the necessary microcodes, yes 906, and the old processors,. pressed the button, replace. pressed the button, patch for socket 1441, or whatever laptop socket was there., forgot. I used the BIOS that I have on my laptop now, from Dsanke. 8 megabytes in size. I bought and installed memory sticks. 8 GB each, 3200 mhz. The processor is 6700 for me now. This memory immediately worked at 3200 mhz. without any additional settings. if you put two memory sticks only on the top, under the keyboard, the laptop will not turn on. if you put one bar from the top, it turns on, works at 3200. if I put 4 bars, two on top, two on the bottom, it works very quickly, automatically at 3200 mhz. if I put two slats on the bottom of the laptop, it only works at 2666 mhz. I left one bar at the bottom, one bar at the top, and it works well at 3200 mhz. but there it is necessary to select a place where to put. if not put correctly, it will work at 2666 mhz. memory sticks called Crucial, ct8g4sfra32a ddr4 3200 8gb

I found it from a link on the YouTube site, where one person shows how to work with this program. but I don’t remember specifically from which link I downloaded. I know that from some of the links it was infected with a virus.
