Official no. And i highly doubt you can get a newer CPU in your laptop since the socket is not highly supported with current CPUs

your best bet is to gather some money and get a more recent laptop from P7xxx series (which support socketed CPU's and MXM GPUs)

@unisev can put in an i7-4930/i7-4940mx (Haswell Mobile Extreme).

I'm currently running the P7xxDMx_RTX bios on a P775DM3 with an I7-7700K and a RTX 2070. I pushed the bios update primarily for the RTX support, but now my CPU is constantly Current/EDP throttling even at idle. Package TDP stays below 30 watt no matter and under load the cpu drops to around 2.6 GHz. Are there bios options I can change to get my cpu back where it was? I'm planning on putting in a newer processor once i find the right deal, but would like this to work first. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

In the overclocking sub menu of the bios there should be a current limit, what is that set to?

In the FIVR window, can you try increasing IccMax?
