I'd still go for a high refresh rate lower resolution display myself for longevity.

Normally I’d feel the same way. After experiencing 240hz panels it would be hard not to notice. But, I’m very big on G-sync. And that would help a lot as screen tearing is a lot more noticeable and frustrating me than anything else. Plus I play a lot of older or adventure style games. So no Apex, CS:GO, or Overwatch for me. So high FPS really isn’t needed. Though I will admit it is really nice to have buttery smooth game play at 200hz and up.

Fair enough if you are sensitive to screen tearing.

What type of stuff does everyone want to see on this.

I'm sure 3DMark results, game benchmarks (which ones?), BIOS screens, speakers, cooling performance, performance in general are some I can think of

All the above. Fire strike scores are what I refer to normally so definitely that. And I have no idea what games you got, but anything demanding. This thing has too much horsepower to be wasting it’s time benchmarking Overwatch and such.:confused:

In addition a very nice inside tour of the machine. Just so we can get a clear view of all the expansion slots and such.

If you still have the Area 51m when you get this I’d appreciate a speaker comparison. The X170 boosts really good speakers. Would like to know if it just has loud speakers or if it has real potential to be used while gaming.

Oh and keyboard. Talk about the feel and how bright the leds are. Seem all to common to have very dim back lighting on keyboards these days.

    I want to see a mad overclock, like 5.1GHz+ on 10 cores, 2100MHz @2080S

Logically a P570WM>P870DM>P870DM3>Area-51m path would say X170 next but idk if I am going forward or backwards over the years LOL

    https://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/13488894/fs/19316903/fs/21628074#

Oh idk if I will be allowed to do that LOL

Speakers will be pitted against M18xR2, Area-51m, and MSI GT73VR.

Keyboard and mouse standard tests. I hope to improve upon my m15 R2 review. I will be reviewing a ASUS laptop soon. I'll post that video when it's out and ask y'all for improvements for the X170.

Well, I was only able to get a measly 5.0Ghz on P870DM with 7700K and 5.3Ghz (5.0 Ghz 24/7 stable on Area-51m) with 9900K so we will see. :p

If this thing can beat a GT83VR in the speaker test that's all I need :D I'll literally sell all my laptops right now to buy this beast if it's that good.
