Glad to see that ram running at 3200mhz. There was an earlier post of a chart where it listed 2666 ram which was confusing.

    E; yeesh those temps

Ram can run on 2666/3200, it’s up to the resellers or us buyers to choose what ram we want, but yeah, 3200mhz isn’t an issue

The cpu temps seems like what they should be, but the gpu though, 64c under both stress tests running at the same time....

Sad we won't see Mini LED display this year. I was looking forward to that model.

I am hoping I can review one of these.

i9 + RTX 2080S will be most interesting. If that i7 is thermal throttling...

@Prema is there a Prema Mod coming for this as well? :D

Hello, do you know what is the thermal paste used?

Probably crappy OEM thermal paste. Thermals should be significantly better with something like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut or Phobya Nanogrease. LM will without a doubt give us the best temps.

We just have to wait for the official reviews that should come out soon.

    Thanks it's what I thought :)
It's will be my first Clevo and I don't really know the cooling efficiency of their dtr, but I hope it will be better and easier to change than my rog G752vs

Clevo DTRs are absolutely amazing. I expect the X170 will be no different. The things I'm really stoked about are the supposed cooling system upgrade over the P775TM and the increase in battery capacity.

I know DTRs aren't known for battery life, but forgive me for wanting a laptop gaming wonder device that can give me desktop class performance, upgradeability, and give me all-day battery life.

That second bit is DEFINITELY not going to happen for a long time, but could be a strong possibility whenever aluminum ion batteries actually become a commercial product. For the time being, I just keep 2 spare batteries on me at all times. Yet another reason I really like clevo DTRs - their batteries are easily swappable.

So there a lot of chance that it's exactly what I want, a powerful gaming computer, but more mobile and nearly as modular than a desktop.
(Sorry if my english is not good)
