CPU TDPs yes, top GPUs were reduced. And let's recall two 1080s in SLI were possible...

Edit @yrekabakery beat me to it

Pro tip: if you can't be bothered to lock your phone, just wirelessly lock it by putting it on the left of the touchpad face-up

That's why mobile and desktop graphics performance have been diverging, since desktop TGPs have gone up but mobile TGPs have gone down.

And we could still get 200W 3080 mobile as pif nvidia or the OEMs bother do it. The 150w+ tag is a Joke. Why not just put it 80-165W ? The 150W+ meant something before. Now its more as a Joke.

Guarantee you that if RDNA2 had not been as competitive as it is, x80 would've been 104 again instead of 102.

I wonder if the radeon series will get mobile chips like back in the day with the 8970. I've seen 6800xt is their top offer but I wonder if they will release in a module not built in to the board. I'm assuming the performance will be a bit better then a 2080 super but will cost significantly less. It has 12gb vram. I think the memory speed is faster

    I don't think they're preparing a mxm, they'll barely be producing mobile bga 6800s
