Does this kind of plug result in some sort of.. power deficiency? Like if using only one outlet does not allow enough electricity to power both units? Just wondering.

Also, do you guys know if the AUO B173ZAN03.0 is a matte panel or glossy?

Thanks. Looks like I’ll be lucky if I can get mine this month, but September may be more realistic.

One and maybe 2 pipes is sandwiched in the fin stack. But the main problem is the Cpu copper cold plate instead for a Vapor chamber. The heat will stay longer than needed into the Cpu silicon. A bad choice. They could pair VC with the pipes. Maybe for next revision of X170:D

I'd imagine the only power losses you'd incur would be from the electrical resistance of the wires.

As for the panel, it looks like a glossy panel, but I can't find any explicit description of the panel finish type. The problem is that every panel looks like a glossy panel when looking at images where the protective film is placed on top.

Edit: The AUO B173ZAN03.0 is a matte panel.

Try re installing it from xmg's tool and driver site, rebooting for each step. The app is indeed not exactly rock solid yes , as I mentioned the damn lightbar keeps lighting up after each complete system turn on. Also I think it would be better not to use any other conflicting app like xtu.

This is a nice test. Well done.

Would you say it's possible to use the laptop without headphones or are the fans too loud when actually pushing it?

825mv @1740Mhz seems my sweetspot without hitting power cap, the gpu temps under load not exceeding 70C means the CPU can breathe a bit better too, high 70's low 80's with -90mV and the lowered PLs.
Will test again whenever the kryonaut arrives.
Only pittance is the fact msi afterburner's profile do not seem to stick after reboot, so you have to reapply them everytime regardless of "apply at startup" being checked.

Let us know how your rig stacks up. I consider hid to be better with thermals and if you have a prema bios I would wonder what kind of option you get in the bios at all. The delidded chip should really help I’d think too.
