Why not just DIY :) Don't remember if SL bins it in the process, ie. test volt/freq curve.

Will delidding a 10900k make it lose its warranty? Was thinking of getting the Tuning warranty plan from Intel, https://tuningplan.intel.com/purchase-a-plan
But don’t know if it’s with it, since I won’t be overclocking.

It doesn't cover physical modifications AFAIK.

Generally not worth it as CPUs don't tend to fail and yes mechanically altering it would void the warranty.

For soldered CPUs, it will harder to get a delidded chip covered by Intel, as there will be signs of tampering.

It really depends on how careless they are at checking chips I suppose but that's quite a gamble.

Indeed, I've never heard of anyone sending in a delidded STIM chip and get a replacement. But perhaps it's possible outside of EU?

Clevo is starting to ship out units today, early resellers in China are getting it by tomorrow. Limited 2080s units at the moment.

I am testing if I can get the ram to run at 4000mhz on the X170SM-G now, fingers crossed.
