The 2 confirmed options for memory are....

    8GB DDR3 1600 (2x4GB)

    16GB DDR3 1600 (2x8GB)

    The specs say...

Two 204Pin SODIMM sockets, support for DDR3 1600MHz* (Real operation frequency depends on FSB of processor)
Expandable up to 16GB, depends on 4GB/8GB SODIMM module

We need to clarify that. A typo for 3 slots I think....

Really curious about the battery life of this device. Do you think 5 hours of web browsing is possible, or should I request for a 4702MQ for better battery life in exchange for performance?

The 4702MQ won't affect battery life much at all. It will just run a little bit cooler when taxed and use a little less power. This is based on the Ivy Bridge 35W quad core vs 45W quad core, and assuming it will be very similar.

Interested in battery life as well. Weight isnt' as bad as I thought (my T5010 is 13" in a 14" chassis and weighs near the 5lbs mark as well) but battery life is a concern for me as I'm sure the charger would add significant weight to the package.

    Yay it's out! :) :)

Question re: the screen--- so does "LED Anti-Glare Screen (1920x1080) w/ AHVA (Advanced-Hyper-View-Angle)" mean that it's the IPS that everyone's been speculating?
