What % is it at? If the battery level is high it wont charge it to avoid over cycling between 90 and 100%.

Oh? That is actually suuuuuper cool. It's at 87%, so I guess that's what's happening.

I was actually thinking about removing the battery and running it plugged in to save battery longevity, but I guess that's not needed.

I installed the nvidia and got this weird control centre that wants me to log in. Is that really necessary? I just need my GPU to work, not for some magical nvidia experience that requires my fingerprint and darkest secrets.

Yes the systems are smarter these days. You installed Geforce experience, you can uninstall it separately. It's main function is to record gameplay with only a small performance impact for streaming or uploading to youtube. It can also change game settings to some suggested best settings based on user feedback. You can uninstall it if you want.

Oh... maybe I can use it to screen-capture my music software... hmmm.

Do I need to log-in to make it work?

Would anyone know the model number for the 4K Samsung PLS offhand? Tried to find it but didn't come up with anything in this thread.

    Thank you!

Yes you need to log it in, yes with the security set right you can record the destkop.

Go to 3:50 and you can see what desktop recording looks like.
