Anyone experience slower fan speed when connecting through external display?

Mine runs at 4200 rpm max when gaming on external display (max fan profile selected in Clevo CC). If I unplugg, it will run at 4600 rpm.

Recentky taken delivery of a PB50RF-G from pc specialist.. very happy with it so far. 2 minor issues though
Fan control just says null on both check boxes for auto and i guess custom. Tried reinstalling from Microsoft store with no fix. Secondly when i plug in headphones sound is very echoey.. i think the soundblaster reverb setting is the issue but sunny know how to fix apart from manually changing the setting each time. I've searched her but no one else reports these issues

It should work properly out of the box, I'd talk to pc specialist since it's their build they should know the common issues.

Hi there, I have the same laptop.
Yes, the reverb can be removed by changing profile in SoundBlaster Connect. I haven't tried with headphones plugged in, but the profile change seems to persist across reboots, at least without headphones.

Regarding the null fan values, I had the same, I guess the Control Centre they ship it with is buggy.
I looked for the most up to date drivers for all devices and control centre, downloading the latest versions from other resellers and clevo itself.
    That fixed it.

Okay so good news for me, it was the SSD that broke and not my laptop. People at CCL (where I bought the SSD) were good sports about it and gave me the option of a replacement or a refund. I went with the refund so I can buy the 1TB version instead :D

Hi, since this thread is a lot more active than the PB71 thread, I'll just ask here since they are basically the same model just with different size. On that note, my friend is looking into buying the PB71RF-G but he wants to buy with a German Keyboard. He is currently in the US and he was looking to buy from Gentech due to their amazing price, but when he contacted Gentech, they said they don't have a German keyboard. So now he is deciding of buying the German Keyboard separately and install it himself.

The question here is though, what model does the PB71RF-G keyboard comes with? We look on ebay and there are just too many different keyboards for different Clevo Chasis series and non specifically for PB71RF or PB51RF (but honestly they all look physically the same). So he is wondering are most of these keyboards (with RGB back-lit ofcourse) would work with PB71RF-G?

If it doesn't, does anyone know where we could buy a German Keyboard for the PB71RF-G?

Any PB7X series will certainly fit, I think the PB5x series too as well.
