So the replacement for the PB51/PB71 will have a 4k screen? Interesting. Will probably wind up being more expensive.

The current PB51/71 were listed with both options on the Clevo site as well, so I wouldn't expect anything new in that regard.

My unit comes with a Thunderbolt sticker but I have not really checked that it is Thunderbolt port

Mine max out <4200rpm with Clevo CC installed. Do you have Clevo fan control installed?

Not at the moment, but I did. I don't use any of the Clevo software except the hot-key and LED apps.

Do your models show a physical thunderbolt near the actual port?

I just saw that Microcenter has the PB50RC1-G on sale for $1500 (it's listed as "PowerSpec 1520").

Looks like it comes with a 500GB SSD and Win10 Pro, but it lacks both the fingerprint sensor and TB3.

I suppose I can do without the fingerprint sensor, but I'm not about TB3.

Unless you’ve seen it in person, don’t be sure it’s lacking Windows Hello and TB3.

Microcenters website is notorious for lacking information.
