Those with a per key RGB keyboard, mind screenshotting the customisation options and effects? Mainly looking for the equalizer option.

Thank you so much for sharing that’s good to know. So far my top picks in price order: are PB51EF-G, P960EN, GE75 (2080 larger batt). In the various ranges: $1800, $2100, $2400.

I would avoid GE75. I bought GE63 last year, was worst purchasing decision - the plastic sockets for holding the display hinge screws cracked in less than a year, the touchpad button also broke (weak plastic clips) and the back cover had very annoying and fragile plastic clips. This is a different model but reading various MSI forums and posts on Reddit it looks like MSI is using cheap fragile plastic on many models, not only the one I bought.

If you don't like Clevo chassis - I'd suggest looking at models from other manufacturers, like Gigabyte, Lenovo or even Razer. Anything but MSI.

My unit has weird GPU thermal limitation at 83c. GPU-Z however indicates thermal limit at 87c :(

Does anyone test how fast the fan can spin? Mine max at around 4300rpm. I recall from somewhere that it could go up to 5000+

Does your GPU temp go above 83C?

In Firestrike and most benchmarks / stress tests, it only gets up to the low 80s. A few games are getting it up to the 90s though, namely 7d2d, Forza Horizon 4, and Anthem.

Stress tests are usually pretty short.
