its exactly the one in notebookcheck but its ahead of the 960ef which makes me think it could be 90w version of the gpu

it isnt its the 80w version

Its a major task to take it apart

Its a lot like gentechpc youtube video for the p950.

But there is another slot for a m2 drive and the heatsynch is differents than the p950 which has 2 seperate heat synch

This one is just like the p960

Im not sure if it's different in any way I will do a picture analysis. We have 2 fans and more heat pipes to the gpu yet all the heat is onnthe cpu with 1 fan. Some day when the warranties expire someone should analyze lower ing cpu temp

It is a bit of a pain to take it apart particularly the ribbon cables of the keyboard take some dexterity.
    There's are 17 screws
The ram brand for 3000 mhz laptop ram that sager uses is goldkey
It shows up as 3000 in bios.
Im not looking forward to doing it again
Unlocking this bios may or may not be easier than previous clevos
Also this is a clevo bios in my machine not a sager.

    One last comment
Sager and xotic dont allow you to buy a 2nd m2 card if your first card is a sata m2

But the machine takes a 2nd pcie card if the first m2 is a sata. It's just their configurator doesnt allow it the motherboard has 1 m b key sata pcie
1 m key pcie and 1 sata only 2.5 interface.

With your temps is nothimg wrong. The core i7-8750H just runs hot.
In a lot of laptops the CPU is throttling because it can’t be cooled.

76-84 in 100% stress situation is perfect, did you run cinebench 15?

Especially as the chassis biases cooling the GPU.

I want to run that test again with max fans on and I dont think I'll exceed 75

I hadn't discovered the fan app yet so the test lets it heat to 80 before it turns max fans on. You can see it in the xtu test I posted earlier it hits 80 early then never again. If I runbthe test with max fans it will never hit 80 I predict

    And cinebench and ssd tests

I put a heat synch on my new ssd but I beliebe 2 pcie ssds can increase heat.

Then research the undervolting that the guy with the 2060 did and see if I can get good 3dmark scores

Any in game test that's common?

This is the heat synch is it exactly the same as the 960 or is it longer? Is it the same motherboard or new?

So 3 pipes go to 2 fans
2 pipes go to 1 fan
1 pipe it connects the ( hot) cpu to you

So is this 6 pipes? I want to engineer passive heat synch in the bridge between the gpu and cpu just what is used for pcie ssds paste it there literally synch it to the whole bottom metal peice of the laptop
I take it back there is 8 pipes the other one loops to the gpu the gpu is connected to all 3 fans
The cpu is not it crosses the gpu and connects to the gpu

    P960:

Looks to be the same size as P970. Look on the extra space P970 has on the left side from the 2 fans.
