Didn't even think of that when I was searching for a 2nd cpu fan. I might have to relook at this from that angle and see if anything from an existing Clevo is a better fit.

Think the VRM radiator width was ~55-60mm, so a 5v fan around that if you happen to find it.

Just a PSA for those who might be googling an answer to installing Nvidia drivers on the clevo p870 with rtx 2080 or similar, as I was a day or two ago: the modded .inf file you can pick up from laptopvideo2go.com needs to be renamed nvcvi.inf to replace the one in the Display.Driver.
If you already knew this then carry on, and if this information seems useful to you but you dont really understand I suggest you do some reading on laptopvideo2go. Oh and you'll need to be a member to download the .inf file....and dont forget to disable driver signature beforehand.

    That is all...

Same goes for the super variants, and likely 30x0. Hopefully they will use the same powercable and will be moddable this way.

If they stick with the same (or similar) form factor and cable reducing installation to just a few potential dremel mods on the heatsink, that would be insane.

The fact they kept the same form factor on the X170SM-G and that's their most likely future design bodes well.

The early numbers and scores for the 3070 also bodes well for future mobile Ampere cards.

We will have to see what the configs are like, memory type changes and bit width changes can really cause differences.

The 3070 with 256-bit G6 memory are none of those things though.

Hey guys, can someone please share a photo of modded vapor chamber heatsink for p870tm, modded for rtx2080?

Which part do I need to cut out? Any recommendations which tools to use?
